AFL is working with the First Church of Lancaster Unitarian Universalist to commemorate Lafayette’s stop in Lancaster. The original church building, designed by Charles Bullfinch and dedicated in 1817, still stands. Reverend Nathaniel Thayer addressed Lafayette here in 1824.
